I spent that same month in my dad’s hospital room — spending every last second we could with him while talking about life and death...
I can’t tell you how many times I stared up at the sky and wished for life and connection and awareness, knowing all the while that his body had probably lost its lease about 20 years earlier (his words).
He lived exactly how he wanted to, so every second was truly a gift.
He left on December 4, 2023. Just curious if you have any connection to that particular Monday?
